Pennsylvania Tall-Clock restoration

Replacing the missing elements on a nice 18th-century Lancaster-County clock-case hood. The clock, when once just considered “old”, must have been cut down to fit a low-ceilinged room. Trees!

Limited to one location, for decades or even hundreds of years, a tree photosynthesizes wood out of thin air and sunlight, trace minerals and water.
